Karim Baylor Bio
Meet Karim Baylor, the personal trainer that formerly faced weight struggles head-on during his teenage years. Reaching almost 260 pounds he was determined to turn his life around. Embarking on a college journey driven by commitment to transforming his lifestyle he embraced daily exercise and adopted better nutrition practices. Karim achieved an impactful 87lbs weight loss over four transformative years. Empowered by his own success with weight loss, he made a life-changing decision to pay it forward and help others achieve their fitness goals.
Karim started as a Personal Trainer in New York in 2010 with Equinox Fitness Club. His career has taken him abroad working with clients during Paris Fashion Week for several years. Miami became his new home in 2021, a growing luxury fitness market where he’s trained at Anatomy gym and the surrounding community.
Notably his weight loss story was in “Men’s Health” magazine Belly Off (June 2011). He was also a model for global Equinox Fitness Club marketing campaigns.
His core specialties include athletic training, functional movement, physique building, and weight loss. His goal is to use mindfulness to understand my clients’ needs, leading with strategy to craft an evolving fitness vision, paving the way for lifestyle achievements.
